A High Cube container is 8ft (2.44 m) wide externally, the same as any standard container. Internal width is 2.35 m. The only width-related difference between standard and High Cube is height-related: more headroom feels more spacious in the same footprint. There are no wide-body variants in mainstream ISO sizes.

Did you know?
A high cube container is almost the same width as a standard container. Keeping the width unchanged allows it to remain compatible with the same ships, trucks, cranes and handling equipment.
